I trained as a sculptor and have worked as a professional artist and teacher for 20 years.
I spent much of the decade 1996-2005 seeking an artist's understanding of the people, country and culture of south-east Arnhem Land in Australia's Northern Territory, including three years with my family living and working as teacher and artist in Ngukurr.

I set up this web site in November 2005 to assist in launching a book about all this.
